Refund Policy

Try it before you pay. Every installation gets ten free exports, so you can put Cool Easy Cut through real work — record, edit and render an MP4 — without spending anything. Free exports are 720p and carry a "Cool Easy Cut" mark; a licence unlocks exports up to 4K (depending on your recording), unmarked, and covers commercial use. We would rather you found out that way than asked for a refund.
14 days, no questions asked
If you buy a licence and it is not what you wanted, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason. Include the email address you bought with, or the order reference from your receipt, so the order can be found.
Refunds are issued by Stripe, our merchant of record, back to the payment method you used. Stripe usually processes them within a few working days; how quickly the money appears after that is up to your bank or card issuer.
After 14 days
A licence does not expire and there is nothing to renew, so there is no recurring charge to cancel and nothing to refund later. If something has gone wrong — the Software will not activate, or an export fails and we cannot fix it — write to us anyway. We would rather sort it out than have you stuck with something that does not work.
Your legal right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase made online. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery has begun with your agreement — and your licence key is delivered immediately at checkout. The 14-day policy above is offered regardless, so in practice you are no worse off. This does not affect your rights if the Software is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
What happens to the key
A fully refunded or charged-back licence key gets cancelled, so the key stops unlocking higher-resolution, unwatermarked exports thereafter.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with your purchase email address or the order reference from your receipt.
